The End of The Year Book Tag

Hey Guys!

So, time for a book tag that I literally just watched on Youtube. Judge me but I need content.

Anyways, I thought it would be fun since I love anything relating to these style of tags where you look back into the year and then look forward into the future. Wow, poetry.

Also, here’s the creator of the tag (I believe).

But onward to the tag!!!!!

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

I wanna lie and say that “No, my reading has been amazing. On par. Unbelievably good.”

BUT

I have DNF-ed more books this year than any year before. But there is one specific book that I really, REALLY need to pick back up. And that book is… drum roll please…. SIEGE AND STORM by Leigh Bardugo.

I… ufff, I really don’t think I will read this book and enjoy it, but I really want to get into King of Scars so like… we plow through it I guess.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

The fact that I had to google what autumnal means shows that the answer is a fat no.

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

Given that I only read new releases 10 years after they came out, no.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

Heartstopper by Alice Osman (I know what a shame. I haven’t read it yet).

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (we don’t talk about it)

Aaaaaannd Wuthering Heights by Miss Emily Bronte (it is always in the currently reading but never being read)

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?

…no…

Have you already started making reading plans for 2018?

I plan on reading more Adult Fantasy, including catching up on the entirety of the published Game of Thrones books. But apart from that, no. I am big mood reader so it doesn’t really matter what I plan because I probably won’t be in the mood for it.
